Background

Andrea earned her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University in 2017 and is a licensed therapist in the state of Minnesota. Before entering the field of mental health, she cultivated a deep understanding of the mind-body connection as a registered yoga teacher and traditional Thai massage therapist. These early experiences continue to shape her therapeutic approach, grounded in the belief that every person has the innate capacity for growth, healing, and transformation.

Andrea empowers teens, adults, couples, and families to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity. She brings a special focus to helping clients with ADHD—offering practical tools and strategies to manage symptoms, reach goals, and lead more fulfilling lives. As a Certified ADHD Clinical Services Provider, Andrea is passionate about not only treating ADHD but also educating clients and the broader community with insights and solutions tailored to individual needs.

She also brings specialized training in trauma treatment through Bessel van der Kolk’s renowned Trauma Research Foundation. With nearly 70% of people experiencing a traumatic event in their lifetime (according to the National Institutes of Health), Andrea understands how vital it is to address trauma as a core part of mental health care.

Her areas of expertise extend to issues around sexual and gender identity, major life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, and depression. Andrea is a strong advocate for inclusive mental health care and believes everyone—regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity—deserves compassionate, affirming support.
